I have finally come to a place in my life that I have missed for so long now.

Lots of stressful things have been happening to me lately,and in the past month or so i have found my self slipping into a depression. I was beggining to give up on my strength again and wondering if my life will go back to destructive behaviours.

While I was talking to a close friend of mine, saying how all my hard work to keep destructive habits out of my life was going to go to waste, she looked me in my teary eyes and said:

"Did you really do it on your own? Have you forgotten that God has pulled you from that dark place? God is bigger than it all."

The words hit me like a brick wall. Have I really forgotten where I was and what God has done? There was no way i couldve done it on my own.

She told me to put my trust back in God.
Now I have this overwhelming sense of Joy and peace again, God met me where I was to say "I love you. You can do it, Its going to be ok."


Isaiah 40:31
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
